🎬 Venue: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Woodbury, MN
Alamo Drafthouse is more than just a movie theater—it’s a full-service cinema with in-theater dining, top-notch AV, and the kind of comfy seats that make all-day learning a breeze. We’ll be using multiple theater spaces for sessions and the attached taproom for networking and lunch.

🧭 Directions & Parking
Driving:
Alamo is located just off I-94 at the Woodbury Drive exit. It’s an easy 20-minute drive from downtown St. Paul and under 30 minutes from MSP Airport.
Parking:
Free parking is available onsite in the lot shared with the surrounding shopping center. No permits or validation needed.
Transit:
While there is no direct Green Line stop, public transportation via Metro Transit bus routes serves the area. From the Green Line, attendees can take a connecting bus from Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. Rideshare options are also plentiful throughout the metro.

We’ve reserved a block of rooms with a discounted group rate at the Sheraton—just a 3-minute drive or a short walk from the venue. A hotel shuttle between the conference venue and the hotel is also available. Room block dates are Tuesday, October 7 – Friday, October 10, 2025.
We recommend arriving Tuesday night to be ready for Wednesday morning sessions, and staying through Thursday night to make the most of the full event.

Need coffee, snacks, or a quick errand? The Alamo Drafthouse is located in a retail area with a Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, Target, and several fast-casual restaurants.
And if you’re staying longer, Woodbury Lakes outdoor shopping center is just up the road.

Traveling from Out of Town?
Flying in for SomeConf? Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is just a 25–30 minute drive from the venue. You can grab a rideshare, taxi, or rental car from either terminal. Public transit is available as well—take the light rail from the airport to downtown St. Paul or Minneapolis, then transfer to a bus heading toward Woodbury. For the smoothest trip, we recommend planning your route with metrotransit.org.
