“The End of the 9-to-5 Agency: How We Built a Collective That Works”

Talk Description

Tired of chasing overhead, managing burnout, and endlessly hiring (and firing)? In this candid talk, Scott will share how he broke away from the traditional agency model and built a flexible, fractional collective that delivers better results for clients—and more freedom for everyone doing the work. You’ll hear how he replaced rigid org charts with agile, plug-and-play talent; transitioned full-time roles into outcome-based contracts; and created a high-performing team without the bloat. Whether you’re a freelancer looking to scale, an agency owner seeking sustainability, or a marketer rethinking how to grow…this conversation will offer actionable takeaways, hard lessons learned, and a roadmap to building a modern agency that thrives without the 9-to-5 grind. Bring your questions. Expect transparency. Leave with ideas you can implement immediately.

This talk is geared towards experienced freelancers and small agency execs.
